In what is undoubtedly the most surprising and inspiring game plan this season, the Saints have re-signed half back legend Deuce McAllister a day before the divisional playoff game against the Cardinals.
So far most sources are saying Deuce will be listed as inactive but an honorary team captain. While that's great, this smells as of a purely a crowd-motivational move, and also a psychological one. The Dome wasn't rocking when the Cowgirls came to town a few weeks ago and Dallas won easily.
But when Deuce is introduced, you know the crowd will go nuts. And the signing has likely gotten most of Who Dat Nation wondering what the signing of Deuce means instead of fretting about Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald. Slick move, Saints organization. And with that, here's a tribute to No. 26, who embodied both power and speed.

Hey its already the 19th and some fans of this blog are waiting with baited breath. Thats right breath that has bait in it. We are waiting for you comments on that smooth sailing win over the Arizona Cardinals. The big story in my opinion of course was bringing the wood. (I wood kill for one of those bats.) The other story was of course Reggie finding out how to go north and south on the football field. He hit those guys early and they went" hey arent you supposed to be dancing and stuff back there until I catch you?" No, Reg said, Coach said Bring the wood. So I am bringing something. Even though I don't know what that means."
ReplyDeleteSaints fans, I implore you stay calm. Don't do anything crazy like plan a super bowl party or anything like that, instead trick Fortuna that slut, plan a "Vikings super bowl party" wink wink nudge nudge. Then you can switch and karma won't paddle our ass up and down BrrrrrGundeee.
Again, this is just a one game at a time deal.. Lets enjoy it. Lets dream of Bobby Hebert and Cha ching and Vaughn "Lil Scoffer" Johnson, Rick Jackson of the most famous putting green hair style, not to mention dear dear Awwwwchiee Manning. (He still cares no matter what his kids do.)
Until next time keep the peace and Go Saints. (Bless you Boys!)
